Our Grade 6 children have just completed their Business Math block and are excited to host a festive Mela for our whole community!
They’ve been planning, budgeting, creating handmade products, designing games, and putting together a delicious food section — all with tremendous heart and teamwork.
To help them plan well, this is a pre-registration event.
Come support their efforts and enjoy an evening filled with creativity, learning, and festive cheer! ✨
🎄Join Us for Our Grade 6 Community Mela! 🎄
Our Grade 6 children have just completed their Business Math block, and with great excitement, they are ready to host a Mela Fair for our entire community.
This Mela is the culmination of weeks of thinking, planning, collaborating, and creating. A celebration of learning coming alive in the real world!
Over the past month, the children have worked hand in hand with classmates, teachers, and even adults in the community to create beautiful handmade products, each reflecting skills they have been learning as part of their school curriculum.
In true entrepreneurial spirit, they have also come up with a range of games, small experiences, and a delightful spread of food, their favourite part, to make the evening joyful, and festive for all our visitors.
To help them plan their stock, quantities, and the space itself, the children arrived at a thoughtful decision to take pre-registrations for this event.
There is so much heart, effort, and learning going into this Mela.
These little hands and big minds are doing something wonderful together! ✨
And what we can do as a community is simple:
Register, come, and give them the opportunity to serve you wholeheartedly with all that they have created and learned.

Sumana Sethuraman
I'm an IT professional turned educator and personal growth coach, deeply committed to nurturing minds and fostering growth over the last seven years. My educational journey, fueled by a love for life and humanity, took a significant turn towards a more humane approach when my son started kindergarten, leading us to embrace the holistic Waldorf pedagogy. Since 2017, teaching middle school has shown me the powerful connection between academic learning and personal discovery. I believe education is more than sharing knowledge; it's about cultivating a mindset for continuous growth, guiding young learners on their unique paths of self-discovery.

Seema
Seema brings grace and deep presence into the handwork space. A mother, lifelong learner, and Waldorf-inspired parent, she believes in the healing and grounding power of working with one’s hands. Seema works intuitively with children, meeting each one where they are, and gently guiding them into the world of form, pattern, and rhythm through stitching and handcraft. With experience in mindful education spaces and a heart that listens deeply, she creates an environment where children feel both safe and inspired to express themselves through their hands.
